During the build up to the Royal Wedding there is much activity around the main areas connected with it. Mainly Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Red, White and Blue is everywhere you look, apart from the floor. One thing the amused me were two bookmakers taking bets on the wedding.
This picture was taken with a 17-40 lens at 17mm, using a flash for the foreground (bookmaker) plus a heliopan polarizer to increase saturation and contrast. The foreground was a little darker than the bright sunlit Abbey, using the flash allowed me to expose for both subjects and keep the sky deep blue.
