I've done a few photoshoots with Gemma now. All previous one have been in the studio, I was keen to do some location work as I haven't done any for quite some time (years). After being in the studio it was completely different. The model felt a bit more conscious that the general public could see what was going on.
I had an idea I wanted to try for this part of the shoot. I wanted to have a strong backlit scene and light Gemma from the front. Although this shot is lit well, I didn't quite get the look I was after, as I wanted the slight flare from the backlit scene in the shoot. I either got it like this, or totally flared and unusable.
